Profile Extrusion Company, an industry leader for over 35 years in manufacturing custom aluminum products, is currently seeking a qualified Staff Accountant for its Louisville, Kentucky office. Under the direction of the Financial Controller, the Staff Accountant will be part of the finance team and will play an integral role in the financial health of the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• · Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations and assist with monthly close processes.
• Will prepare Financial Statement.
• Will prepare monthly inventory financial schedules.
• Will perform bank reconciliations.
• Will prepare sales tax returns.
• Complete census reports.
• Will maintain fixed asset recordkeeping.
• Will assist the Controller as needed with ad hoc financial projects.

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2+ year of accounting experience.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Good problem solving and time management skills.\
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
