Rea Logan & Co., LLC, CPAs is a full-service accounting firm that has been serving clients for over 50 years throughout Peru, Wabash, Marion, and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing our clients with professional, personalized services and guidance in a wide range of financial and business needs. Our services include individual, corporation, partnership, non-profit, and estate tax return preparation, bookkeeping and payroll services, to more in-depth services such as not-for-profit and governmental (Yellow Book and Compliance) audits, financial statement preparation, compilations, reviews, financial planning, and estate planning.
For our Peru and Marion offices, we are currently seeking highly motivated, career-oriented tax and accounting professionals with the opportunity to advance within our growing firm. Responsibilities:
- Work cohesively with internal team members on a timely, professional manner
- Obtain thorough understanding of the work to be performed, how to perform it, and the purpose for it
- Develop technical skills both on the job and through continuing professional education
- Provide accounting and bookkeeping services for business clients, including payroll and payroll tax reporting
- Prepare individual, business, non-profit, and fiduciary tax returns
- Proactively build and maintain relationships, and communicate effectively with the clients
- Assist clients with accounting and tax questions as they arise, and provide superior client service
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or working towards degree
- Requires 0 - 5 years of job-related experience
- CPA certification or educational experience to obtain the licensure preferred, but not required
- Proficient computer skills; including Microsoft Office programs and any accounting/tax programs
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Great project management skills, including organization, time management, and prioritization
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both in writing and verbally, with management, employees, and customers

Location:
- In office (Marion, Indiana)
- Some occasional travel will be necessary to our Peru, Wabash, and Marion offices depending on work assignments
- Some occasional travel is necessary to client locations, which are generally local clients
- No overnight travel
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch break (non-summer schedule)
- January – April 15th: All professional staff should anticipate 50-60 hours per week on average
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
