Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Under the director or designee, the registered nurse is responsible for providing nursing care adapted to individual patient needs based on the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The staff nurse provides care along the health care continuuem in accordance with the philosophy and policies of St. Francis Memorial Hospital

  • The Staff Nurse II is responsible for direct and indirect delivery of patient care for a wide variety of patient populations through the use of the nursing process and maintenance of the standards of professional nursing practice. The Registered Nurse promotes compliance and support of policies and achieves trust in professional collegial relationships.
  • The staff nurse utilizes principles of the nursing process and coordinates clinically related activities to provide for the effective delivery of healthcare. He or she is also responsible for delegation and supervision of personnel, in the provision of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met.

ALL REGISTERED NURSES
will render professional nursing care to patients, support medical care as directed by physicians. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Saint Francis Memorial Hospital. Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • Experience in critical care setting strongly preferred but combination of education other experience and specialty training may be considered.
  • One year critical care experience preferred.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical record preferred.

  • BSN preferred; CCRN preferred.
  • Must have a valid California RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA-approved).

Pay Range
$69.47 - $84.81 /hour
