Standing and walking forlong periods of time, pushing and lifting 50 pounds.

Shift
Work Shift: Variable hours through the week depending on workload, but will include weekend and holiday hours as well.

Hours Per Week : 37.5

Job Summary
Assist with care of horses and farm including maintenance such as mowing, weed eating etc. This is a seasonal position designed to last approximately 6 months but may last longer than that depending on need.

The Veterinary Science Department is looking for a STEPS employee at the C. Oran Little Research Center farm in Versailles and one at the North Farm in Lexington.

If working over 30 hours per week, you will be eligible for health benefits in this position (medical/dental/vision plans).

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Previous experience with horses and farm work.
