JOB SUMMARY
Receives deliveries from suppliers and stockrooms. Prepares packages and documentation for export of goods to Tropical's international locations. Responsible for movement and control of inventory assigned to the various Tropical Shipping stocking locations. Responsible for processing orders and shipments for various domestic offices.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: Two years in warehouse shipping and receiving.
LICENSE: Valid Local Driver's License and Valid Passport.
TRAVEL: 5% Travel to various Tropical locations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Packages shipments and prepares documents for shipping supplies to Tropical's international locations
• Receives, records and places parts in proper location
• Records all exceptions, damages, or discrepancies on the receiving documentation
• Matches receiving documentation with purchase orders
• Maintains warehouse inventory in a neat and orderly manner
• Operate forklift to move parts and unload trucks
• Participates in annual inventory counts
• Performs other duties as required

Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience Requirements:

• Must have valid Driver's License
• Certified to operate a forklift
• 2 years experience working in warehouse shipping and receiving

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to twist, bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb on equipment
• Push and/or pull 50 pounds
• Able to withstand constant exposure to extreme weather conditions
• Must pass Department of Transportation physical
