Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our team at True Value Hardware. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and leading a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you will be working with key vendors to achieve and exceed sales goals, while ensuring operational excellence in all aspects of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and meet/exceed performance goals

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences

- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement

- Manage store inventory and merchandising to ensure product availability and optimize sales

- Build and maintain relationships with key vendors to ensure product availability and optimize sales

- Ensure operational excellence in all aspects of the store, including cash management, inventory control, and loss prevention

- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in a hardware/home improvement environment

- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and POS systems
