Job Summary:

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) program as a Strategic Program Analyst. Applies expert knowledge in Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare briefing materials to high-profile clients and stakeholders, often with limited time and partial information. Tailor content to multiple audiences using slides to 'tell the story' of the topic, such as status, challenges and opportunities. Draft narrative and create graphics to communicate key information on topics such as program status, risks, action items, technical challenges, milestones across functional and technical areas of the program. Maintain slide libraries for efficient assembly of decks for senior leader speaking engagements. Work under deadline and in close contact with senior government and contract leadership. Work across the team to identify collect information and coordinate inputs for meetings and briefings as needed. Applies project management knowledge, such as project plan and schedule concepts to plan and execute workload. Proactively seek to solve blockers and reaches out to team or other program areas as needed to advance task completion. Support specific and ad hoc areas as directed by Operations Center leadership.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • High/expert proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Ability to assemble independently a variety of Excel tables, PowerPoint slides, and Word documentation with limited time for client consumption
  • Must have great client delivery skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts succinctly and quickly in an easy-to-digest story
  • Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline, or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Compensation:

  • Full-Time Direct Hire
  • Compensation: $100,000-$120,000
