Student Support SpecialistSeeking an energetic, collaborative individual to be a part of our Student Management Team that ensures a positive and productive learning environment. Our team provides school-wide education, intervention and support to students and faculty as needed. Candidate should be familiar with: Best practices for behavior management and restorative practicesDesign and implementation of instruction in pro-social and healthy behaviorsData collection and entryThe social/emotional/cognitive stages and developmental needs of adolescentsand have experience working with middle and/or high school studentsQualifications1.Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, mental health and/or related field2. 3-5 years experience working in an educational setting is preferred3. Ability to effectively respond to directives and be flexible with alternating routines4. Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of individuals and groups.
