DAY-TO-DAY AS A SUMMER CAMP CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - OT
This part-time occupational therapy position with our human services nonprofit must be available to work from June 26th - August 11th.

Your days are packed with meaningful experiences that make a real difference in the lives of children with disabilities. Every day, you review your schedule and prepare for appointments with enthusiastic energy, ready to greet your students and make a positive impact on their lives. Your OT role involves providing personalized occupational therapy services to children, assessing their skills and strengths, and developing a treatment plan that helps them reach their goals. You also conduct classroom consultations and make screening recommendations for children who may need extra support, ensuring that progress notes and annual reports are completed on time, and accurately documenting each child's progress and needs.
As part of our team of occupational therapists, you complete evaluations and provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). You stay up-to-date with the latest therapy techniques, attend staff/team meetings and other CPSE/CSE meetings as assigned, and assist in occupational therapy staff development and training. Your days are dynamic and varied, and you perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the program. REQUIREMENTS FOR A SUMMER CAMP CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - OT
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the occupational therapy field
- Current license by the State of Board of Registration in Medicine
- 3+ years of experience working with children as a therapist
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Covid-19 vaccination
