SPARK business academy teaches financial literacy and business topics to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

We are looking for a Summer Camp Instructor to supervise young campers and make sure they learn and have fun. We provide teaching guides, training, and class materials for each weekly camp.

A SPARK Summer Camp Instructor will use our easy to follow financial literacy and business related teaching guides in a fun and jovial manner. Being reliable and able to build good relationships with children are two essential traits of a SPARK Summer Camp Instructor.

This summer we are offering half-day camps in the 02035 zip code in-person. The camp week is Monday to Friday from 9:00-11:30 am and 12:30-3:00 pm during the weeks of 7/3-7/28.

The ideal candidate will be a current teacher or has at least two years of experience as a camp counselor. If you’re patient, energetic but strict when needed, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Lead business and financial literacy classes
• Escort and oversee children
• Educate campers through games and explorations
• Set up and maintain the classroom
• Make sure all safety rules are followed and provides excellent classroom management skills

Skills

• Proven experience as a school teacher, camp counselor, or similar role working with children
• Patient and reliable
• Organizational and communication skills
• A love for children
• Energetic and positive personality

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $450.00 - $537.50 per week
