Looking for a Certified Lifeguard to work at our childcare facility ensuring the safety of the children in our onsite pool this summer.
- Safeguard the lives of campers and staff in all aquatic areas
- Enforce facility rules in courteous but firm manner
- Comply with Four Seasons Daycares Safety Standards and attend all required in-service trainings
- Assist in maintenance of aquatic areas including cleaning; Check area for hazardous conditions upon arrival and report any findings to the facility Director
- Keep swimming area clean and ready for inspections
- Report to work on time, in uniform and at position when shift begins
- Secure area by locking all doors and access points when a lifeguard is not on duty
- Ensure each camper has a pleasant experience and goals are adequately met
- Carry out all other tasks/objectives as assigned by the Director; maintain a positive working relationship with all staff
Minimum Requirements
· Must currently have or be able to obtain CPR Certification
· Must currently have or be able to obtain First-aid Certification
· Passion, enthusiasm and commitment
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $14.00 per hour
