Summary
The MIL Corporation is looking for Summer Technical Hires (Engineering Aide I) to support one or more projects in new and innovative technical areas at our Lexington Park, MD location. Those filling these positions will work with practicing engineers to gain valuable experience in new and emerging technologies. These positions run through the summer 2023 break, with a possibility for continuance during the school year or school breaks.
Responsibilities
- Support and provide experiential learning engineering efforts in the following (or related) areas:
- Quantum Computing
- Quantum resistant encryption
- Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality
- Artificial Intelligence
- Learning systems and training datasets
- Target Identification
- Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Systems Modelling
- Configuration Management
Required Qualifications
- Educational coursework or experience in one or more of the above areas.
- Passion and motivation to learn and explore the above technology areas.
Education
At least 3 years (~90 credits) towards a Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited college.
Clearance
All applicants for this position must be able to obtain a current Secret Clearance; please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.
