Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day supervision, planning, coordination, safety, and quality control of all on site construction activities for assigned projects
  • Responsible for providing response and management of contractors, consultants, and interfacing with clients as a representative of the of the company
  • Supervise projects from project initiation, substantial completion, punch list, and project close-out
  • Supervise and direct field personnel to achieve project completion within the project and schedule and budget
  • Ensure that work is completed with quality workmanship and conforms to the contract plans and specifications
  • Maintains regular contact with Project Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement project schedules using software and the critical path method
  • Maintain accurate record documents during the project
  • Maintain daily field reports for labor, equipment, materials, schedule progress, and photo documentation
  • Must be able to identify issues quickly and communicate with Project Manager
  • Must be able to monitor and check added work performed by subcontractors
  • Maintain 3-week look ahead schedules and communicate schedule requirements internally and externally to clients and subcontractors
  • Lead the project closeout process with preparing and completing the job close out check lists, punch list process, collecting and issuing project close out documentation
  • Review subcontractor schedule of values for pay applications

Requirements:

  • Must be an effective written and verbal communicator
  • Proficient with computer technology and software (Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and other software necessary to perform job)
  • Must be able to manage and supervise others
  • Conduct regular foreman and subcontractor meetings
  • Create and/or review scopes of work for contracts
  • Participate and/or run meetings with construction team and clients
  • Maintain an organized job site and field offices
  • Multi-task numerous projects concurrently in varying stages of construction
  • Work with time constraints and complete deliverables on time
  • Must possess a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of directly related supervisory experience in a construction workplace or formal training in related fields
  • OSHA 30 and USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors must be obtained within 60-days
  • Knowledgeable of construction means and methods for various project types
  • Must be able to implement safety requirements including company health and safety, USACE EM 385-1-1, OSHA 1910.12, and other applicable regulatory and safety guidelines typically utilized with federal government projects
  • Understanding and administer Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) processes and procedures
  • General working knowledge of federal regulatory contracting processes, practices, requirements, guidelines, and laws regarding construction projects
  • Experience with federal construction projects
  • Safe driving and operation of equipment
  • Must possess valid state driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screens
  • Must be available for standby assignments/scheduled off-hours/emergency work as required
  • Must be able to travel as required
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret data; provide responses in a timely and professional manner; able to communicate clearly, and succinctly on a basic and technical level
  • Must be able to document issues and resulting resolutions
  • Must possess basic computer skills, basic maintenance, repair aptitude, and ability to solve problems
  • Ability to interpret and understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Must have a high level of self-accountability and sense of urgency
  • Ability to verbally communicate with, hear and understand others
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to list up to 30 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
