Job Summary:
Supervises the work of employees in specifically assigned tasks and in part performs functions to ensure timely, adequate supply of patient materials and equipment for all areas of the Medical Center. Discusses with the Director, personnel matters related to employees assigned, as requested. In addition, educates employees regarding new instrumentation /equipment. Holds staff education meetings. Plan, direct and coordinate the operations of Supply Processing and Distribution department. Manage staff for optimum performance.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

• Requires 3-5 years experience as a Technician in Supply Processing Department, preferably 2 years of experience spent in a supervisory position.

Education Requirements:

• Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience required. HS with significant SPD tech and Supervisory experience will be considered.

License/Certification/Registry:

• Certified Central Service Technician and Supervisor.
