Title: Supply Chain Analyst II
Location: Reading, PA
Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Analyst supports the organization through analysis of the supply chain processes and develops improved efficiencies and cost saving opportunities. Through database management and spreadsheet analysis, the Supply Chain
Analyst will identify gaps within existing key performance indicators and look for improvements in areas such as inventory turns, logistics costs, short and long term planning and will be a key member of the SIOP process.
Position Responsibilities:
● Manage MRP parameters in JD Edwards to ensure proper outputs are maintained
● Support the continued implementation of a system driven metric for on-time delivery
● Lead the demand planning process as part of the monthly SIOP process
● Monitor forecasts to determine effects on supply chain activities
● Reporting and metric development to support company and department initiatives
● Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance
● Own the establishment of stocking levels in line with financial goals
● Evaluate technology based solutions as directed to improve tracking and reporting of planning, inventory and customer demand
● Logistics planning and optimization to include freight planning and cost savings opportunities
● Develop SOP’s for Supply Chain related activities
● Oversee inventory procedures and operational preparedness for physical inventories
Financial Responsibility:
● No cost center responsibility; no profit & loss responsibility
Position Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
● Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain management or business
Experience:
● Five (5) to eight (8) years of successful experience in Supply Chain Analytics
● Manufacturing industry experience preferred
Certification /License:
● APICS CPIM a plus
Skills and Abilities:
● Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau
● Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
● High level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
● Experience working in an ERP system (JDE preferred)
● Demonstrated ability to analyze inventory
● Advanced planning and MRP experience
● Self-starter with capability to create a vision
● Effective oral and written communication; excellent interpersonal skills
● Excellent organizational skills
● The ability to collaborate with a multi-department team
Supervisory responsibilities:
● None
Work environment:
● Professional office environment
● Sedentary work with extended periods of computer use
● Occasional work in warehouse/manufacturing plant.
● Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE)
Travel:
● Low (10%-20%)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
