About the Role
Resident is looking for a Retail Supply Chain Coordinator. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter with an ability to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and assist others in a fast-paced remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling & Coordinating transportation between our 3PL’s & warehouses
- Managing & rescheduling driver pickups
- Functioning as a subject matter expert of Retail processes.
- Build out key workflow changes, guidelines, policies and procedures and communicate this effectively with the retail network & our partners
- Manage inventory receipts and reconciliation to expected inbound units
- Cross-functional collaboration; providing quick, concise, and professional insights
- Review data, resolve discrepancies & provide action plans for improved functionality
- Monitor & dispute freight shipments for misbilled products according to weights/dimensions
- Understand & facilitate retailer labeling requirements & ensure our partners are adhering to it
- Resolve any operational issues quickly and efficiently
- Drive profitability increases by product and retailer through improving efficiencies, product changes & ordering cadence
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Big Box retailers & their requirements
- Minimum of 4 years working in Logistics, Transportation and/or Supply Chain
- Strong computer skills – proficient in Excel, Google Suite, Asana, Slack.
- Experience in a fast-paced, start-up environment with the ability to demonstrate proactive initiative
- Demonstrated experience working from home
- Ability to work within a decentralized team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to comprehend complex processes and communicate them simply and accurately
