Position Summary
Oversee the development of strategy and implementation of process improvements relating to inbound planning and execution of products into the distribution centers (DC). Work collaboratively with leadership of inventory & replenishment, distribution operations, transportation operations and supplier community to optimize inbound flow of goods with network capacity constraints. Develop solutions and lead team through data analysis, solution development and project management. Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinate review of inbound capacity models and DC inbound appointment scheduling to improve inventory service levels and operational effectiveness
- Develop strategy and processes to monitor and improve supplier performance against buyer requested arrival dates
- Lead the design of streamlined enterprise-level business processes that improve inbound planning and execution, support growth plans, decrease cost, and meet our business strategy
- Develop scope and approach of major Supply Chain initiatives, prioritize project deployment and align resources to projects
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior management to understand and document business strategies
- Guide the facilitation of working sessions to develop current and future state processes
- Set process modeling and documentation standards and update standards
- Manage multiple Supply Chain projects while adhering to timelines and budgets
- Consult with subject matter experts to develop potential business and technology solutions; advise on impact to business processes
- Define and document current and future state business processes, identify process improvement needs and develop plans to implement suggested improvements
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
- Travel to distribution centers and divisions to review current processes and develop solutions for improvements

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:
- Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
- 5 years’ experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement utilizing Lean/Six Sigma methodology
- 5 years of direct project management experience
- Ability to guide a team of highly driven and talented individuals
- Ability to prioritize and assign work according to business priorities and strategies
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Understanding of organizational impacts that result from changes in business processes and technologies
- Ability to direct the development and documentation of business processes
- Ability to escalate issues appropriately and drive them to resolution
- Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to drive toward solutions
- Ability to maintain a solutions-focused approach
