Who is Averte?

Averte is a residential treatment program for adults with mental illness. At Averte, we aim to change the trajectory of lives by helping individuals develop cognitive, emotional, and physical resilience in an environment of health, wellness, and community. We have 4 residential programs in the Upper Valley, serving 8-16 individuals at each site.

What will I be doing?

We are looking for Support Staff to join our team and help us advance our mission. AsSupport Staff, you will be providing support to the people we serve with their day-to-day activities in their home and the community.

A quick highlight of some of the things our Support Staff do:

• Foster a therapeutic environment through engagement with residents, structured activities, predictability and consistency, and participation in the treatment process. Treat residents with dignity and respect always.
• Provide transportation and support to residents in the community. This may include accompanying them to appointments, to run errands, on individual or group outings, or to take them to and from work.
• Provide prompts and reminders for completion of ADLs
• Utilize de-escalation skills, trauma informed care, and therapeutic interventions for residents (we will provide training)
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment for people we serve
• Documentation, including progress notes, MARs, and incident reports

What will I receive?

• Up to $2000 employment bonus
• $18.00/hour starting pay
• $1.00 differential pay on Saturday/Sunday and company observed holidays
• Onsite comprehensive training

Schedule.

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Flexible schedule
• Several 8/10/12 hour shifts available—will discuss during interview
• Weekend rotation/Holiday rotation
