Supported Employment Specialist

Seeking a motivated individual to assist individuals in fulfilling their competitive employment goals through the development of employment plans and collaboration with potential employers, community partners and families to create opportunities for success .

• The Supported Employment Specialist will work with our clients toward achieving vocational goals in accordance with evidence- based SEP principles.
• This position will help individuals obtain and maintain work that aligns with their personal employment goals through ongoing assessment of interests and vocational functioning and, with consumer consent, work directly with employers to provide education and support to the employer, assist with negotiation of work accommodations and provide follow along supports as needed to the individual and employer.
• Position generally spends 60% of the time working in community settings.
• Qualified applicant must possess strong communication and organizational skills, understand mental health issues, be creative and enjoy working with adults and families.
• New competitive salary scale will be introduced April 15, 2023. Currant salary $17.59-$19.24
