WorkFit Staffing, a division of WorkFit Medical, LLC is seeking an experienced RN for a contract assignment on a Surgical Stay Unit within a hospital located in Ithaca, NY.
Night Shift Available! 36 Hours/week for 13-weeks!
We offer very competitive pay! $75.00/hour!
Job Responsibilities:
Travel Registered Nurse need open for a Surgical Stay Unit RN, nights, 40/week for a 13-week contract. This unit is a post-surgical unit (not recovery). Total Joint replacements, Back surgeries, Bariatric surgeries, Abdominal surgeries, Mastectomy’s etc. (No heart surgeries) They receive the patients directly after they have completed PACU. They monitor Telemetry, without continuous interventions. They work with PT, the surgeons, and the medical doctors, also partner with PMRU. We would be willing to accept a Med/Tele RN who can read strips as the surgical piece can be taught on the fly.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a clean NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Licensed and currently registered by the New York State Department of Education and one year related experience.
- Applicants may be subject to a clearance check from New York State Child Abuse Registry.
