Surgical Technologist- Delivery Room $6000 Sign On Bonus

We are offering a $6000 sign on bonus for all, new surgical technologists at Mercy Hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare rooms for surgical procedures, scrub in on cases and perform counts. Clean rooms and instruments, restock supplies in OR and LDR areas.
• Assist in positioning, prepping and draping of patients for the procedure.
• Must be able to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), provide basic nursing care to patients, performs EKG and phlebotomy and assist in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
• Ability to transfer patients to other units and run errands, especially to pharmacy and the lab, are also required.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent;
• Completion of OR/Surgical Technician program required.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist with NYS required.
• Minimum of one year related experience required.
