Balfour Beatty is seeking a sustainability coordinator for a project we have in the DC market. Please see the below qualifications and overview of the role.

Qualifications - LEED AP with BD+C credentials up to date and 5 years of experience running LEED on projects from specs and contract documents

Experience - LEED Minimum v4

Useful extra - Understanding of WELL Building and ParkSmart certifications

Scope

• Manage and Coordinate Sustainability on the Construction Manager s side
• Manage the flow of information to and from Construction Manager and Owner/Design Team with meetings and reports
• Update and issue a Sustainability Monthly Report that is part of the Billing
• Reports are made up of the following items that will be reviewed monthly and updated/tracked and need to be managed on a daily and weekly basis with the Construction Manager field and office team
• Monthly Narrative
• Targeted Building Tracker
• Erosion And Sediment Control
• Construction Demo and Waste
• IAQ Management
• IAQ Assessment (WELL BUILDING)
• Cost Reports
• Waste Reduction Reports
• Salvage Waste Reports
• Photo documentation as required
• Review all submittals from divisions 1-10 and 12 and 31-32 that require specific sustainability attributes tracking sheet and advise the project team
• Help project team with additional support for submittals and guidance on requirements example for HPDs / EPDS / VOC etc. where missing or needed further explaining
• Use and update LEED Credit tracking software to track and manage information for the project and record keeping
• Track all waste tickets from various Subs / Construction Management and create reports through
• Coordinate buy out with the bid team and PMs to include all Sustainability requirements pertinent to subcontractors scope and guidance
• Weekly update for the Owner/Design Team Meetings for sustainability
• Update and revise submittal plans as the work on-site changes and progresses to reflect more details
