The Electrical Sustaining Engineer will be responsible for activities involving process development, process validation, BOM creation, ECR/ECN maintenance, and production documentation for various advanced technical issues in Electrical Engineering. Responsible for product/process/yield improvement activities in partnership with Engineering, Operations, and Quality departments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary responsibility to develop and maintains assembly guidelines, procedures, and illustrations from release through document control.
  • Leads Manufacturing Bill of Materials development and ongoing administration and updates from product improvements or obsolescence.
  • Responsible for providing feedback to Engineering in the form of Engineering Changes (EC's) to facilitate manufacturability and through put.
  • Addresses system obsolesces issues of system are already in production. Update parts list, drawing and test procedures accordingly.
  • Works with Manufacturing Engineering and Project Management to resolve any design related issue impacting production and to improve product design.

Additional Qualifications :

  • Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of experience on a similar position
  • Excellent communication & computer documentation skills.
  • A Professional Engineering License is desirable.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering processes and procedures.
  • Experience and knowledge of requirements, verification, and validation.
  • Experience with complex systems development and integration preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
