A day in the life of a Swiss Operator and programmer

As a operator and Programmer at Metalcraft Solutions, you will be responsible for some maintenance of the equipment. You will have the opportunity to work and Program on one of our seven Star swiss machines. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that has experience in setup and operation of a Swiss. This position will require for you to have experience in programing in G-code and software. As with all of our positions within Metalcraft Solutions, you will be responsible for positive production output including Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Productivity. There may be other duties and responsibilities that are required at the discretion of Metalcraft Solutions.

Required Qualifications

Oral and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow directions.

Manual dexterity. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Physical stamina.

Ability to read prints and drawing is required.

Dependable and able to work 40 hours a week. (Overtime and Saturdays may be required sometimes)

Ability to utilize Mic's and calipers.

Knowledge of feeds and speeds for common machinable metals and plastics.

Ability to produce tight tolerance machined parts.

Understanding of G-code programing and software programing is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
