We are seeking a Staff level Test Engineer to provide technical oversight and direction in support of electrical and mechanical test and integration of missile assemblies including Hypersonics, Missile Defense, FBM and others. Lead the testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:

• Reviews and evaluates test requirements.
• Develops, prepares and executes comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules supporting production and development programs.
• Performs data review and data reduction and generates final reports.
• Provides troubleshooting leadership, identify cause and corrective action to resolve technical production problems and develop re-test instructions when needed.
• Identify and lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase the repeatability, efficiency and throughput of test operations.

The position may require periodic or unscheduled overtime and/or nonstandard workweek depending on program schedule requirements and equipment availability.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience in Assembly, Test, or Launch Operations (ATLO), Test Engineering, or other related discipline.
• Experience and proficiency with test processes, initiatives, and DFT (Design for Test) for system level test.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Candidate must be an excellent technical writer (job entails writing test procedures and reports) and be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Desired Skills:

• 15 years of experience in Assembly, Test, or Launch Operations (ATLO), Test Engineering, or other related discipline.
• Work experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry
• Certified Test Conductor
• Experience with Automation Framework
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with DOORS requirements database
• Experience with test automation and scripting
