This position will be based at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Primary Tasks
- Schedule, coordinate and facilitate VTC requests/sessions.
- Maintain VTC Account Database.
- Track, document and brief management on VTC utilization trends.
- Maintain and update web-based VTC schedule.
- Provide enterprise installation support, technical documentation, ongoing troubleshooting and maintenance, and on-site training support for VTC services.
- Act as enterprise VTC network maintenance focal point; receives and responds to alerts from VTC users/network VTC systems.
- Coordinate with appropriate vendors for maintenance support.
- Configure systems, communications devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Develop and maintain JPRA VTC Directory.
- Install, configure, and upgrade VTC hardware/software.
- Develop training materials, and train on-site personnel in the proper use of the VTC-Audio/Visual (A/V) hardware/software.
- Support on-site installations from maintenance vendor.
- Integrate VTCs and A/V equipment with 3rd party communications solutions (e.g., Creston).
- Provide monthly VTC usage reports with a 99% success rate of VTC sessions per month.
- Create and work customer tickets utilizing the agency provided ticket system.
- Assist customers with resolving incidents and service requests by phone, email, and in person.
- Provision Defense Enterprise Email/DoD365-J accounts via the Defense Enterprise Provisioning Online (DEPO) application.
- Manage Microsoft Endpoint Client Manager (MECM):
- Create and maintain deployment tasks.
- Create and maintain application packages.
- Create and maintain system images.
- Utilize the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Secure Host Baseline (SHB) to create agency system images.
- Create/Modify Group Policy Objects (GPO) as needed.
- Deploy new servers and applications utilizing physical hardware and virtualization via VMware and Hyper-V.
- Maintain Domain Name System (DNS) servers.
- Maintain inventory control.
Troubleshooting
- Provide Tier II/III troubleshooting and problem resolution as required.
- Provide Audio/Video troubleshooting of systems.
Security
- Apply/Update software on all end-user and server equipment utilizing WSUS and MECM on NIPRNET/SIPRNET/JWICS to maintain USCYBERCOM IAVM compliance.
- Apply/Update DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) to all end-user and server equipment.
- Work with the IA Engineer, ISSO, and ISSM to comply with all USCYBERCOM security guidelines.
- Work with the IA Engineer, ISSO, and ISSM to remediate all discovered vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
- Comply with all Air Force guidelines.
Documentation
- Document and maintain current user documentation, system documentation, and checklists.
- Provide a weekly status of activities performed and/or completed.
Equipment Acquisition / Accountability / Disposal
- Input purchase orders into the government provided purchase order system.
- Inventory, asset tag, and add to inventory database all end-user equipment received.
- Update inventory database when equipment is moved, fielded, or removed from service.
- Work with and assist equipment custodians with annual inventory of equipment.
- Work with and assist equipment custodians with DRMO process of equipment that is no longer needed.
Skills / Qualifications
Skills / Qualifications
- Must possess at time of start a minimum current final SECRET security clearance and be eligible for a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Candidate must have a High School Diploma.
- Must possess at time of start a minimum IA Security certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M at the IAT-II level. Please reference https://public.cyber.mil/cw/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications/ for a list of approved certifications. IAT-III level certifications are also acceptable.
- The ideal candidate should possess at time of start a minimum of one of the following computing environment certifications:
- CompTIA Server+
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA): Windows Server Administration Fundamentals
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA): Security Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2012
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2016
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Core Infrastructure
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
Additional Items
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.
- Some travel between primary agency site and geographically separated locations may be required to perform assigned duties.
