Technical helper to be part of a dynamic team supporting the demolition of the Parking Guidance System at BWI airport.

Requirements

• Requires dismounting, disassembling and disposing the existing parking guidance system.
• Working on schedule and unscheduled tasks to demo the current parking guidance system which consists of demolition of: Power supply, canals, cabling, sensors, and other components.
• Although this is not a high-altitude job, it requires being capable of going up and down a ladder.
• It requires to be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• It requires to be able to work as a team and receive instructions from supervisor.
• Be able to pass background check.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office.
• Current Maryland driver's license.
• Ability to operate hand tools and handheld mobile devices.
• Familiar with industry standards including the ability to read drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• One year of experience working construction, electrical, technical, or related field.
• Effective communication, outstanding customer service.
• OSHA 10 hours certification preferable.

Important

• This is a temporary position for 6 months. The expectation is that this person works full time during the 6 months project.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Uninstall sensors, pull data cables and low voltage cable, put down canals.
• Dispose equipment that is being removed.
• Able to drive truck to dump or to deliver to recycle company.
• Submit timesheet on a timely matter (This task is critical for this Work).
• Provide feedback and input for weekly reports.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Construction, electrical, technical, or related field: 1 year (Preferred)
