ZACHRY is currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our Workforce Planning and Staffing Group located in our Westchase Houston, Texas Design Center. The primary functions of this position are to deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers while conducting the daily employment office onboarding functions, ensuring that we select and hire the best qualified candidates to meet the project specific needs and federal/state legal requirements. They will work closely with Talent Acquisition Recruiters to assist with developing strategies to support the team’s current and upcoming needs.
Position Summary: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will assist with the daily administrative, operations and staffing needs for the group and must be able to deliver a high level of customer service to both internal customers (Operational Managers, Talent Acquisition Managers, Co-workers, and Peers) and external customers (Job Seekers; Applicants; Project/Site Owner Personnel)
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides customer service to employment candidates that includes but is not limited to assisting candidates with job application and walking a candidate through the onboarding and hiring processes
- Conducts operational and administrative portions of hire process by ordering and completing background checks and drug screens
- Maintain employee I9 compliance and E-Verify compliance
- Must be able to assist in cold calling candidates
- Administrative duties including data entry, answering phones, taking messages, filing, etc.
- Performs assigned activities, and updates requisitions and other employment systems as related to the employment paperwork, site specific requirements, etc.
- Review commpleted hire packets and employment paperwork for accuracy and compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Reviews and/or creates requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates
- Track and report data on staffing plan onboarding process for all assigned employees
- May assist recruiters with requisition dispositioning and prescreening of candidates.
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- Knowledge of employment processes and federal/state employment laws.
- Ability to plan and make decisions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Be able to resolve conflict and problems
- Technical skills with standard software applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Calendar management, etc.
- Excellent people skills including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team-building skills
- High level of customer service
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to Zachry values, practices and policies
Preferred but not required:
- 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources or employee onboarding processes preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry sectors.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- PHR or SPHR Certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,792.37 - $116,882.23 per year
