Job Description
AECOM has an immediate need for a highly motivated and results oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our US Based Talent Acquisition team. In this role, your diverse organization expertise, exceptional follow through abilities and attention to detail will support multiply business line across North America. This is a remote, virtual position to be based in the domestic United States and will predominately support the East Region Time Zone.

Job summary;
+ Under general supervision, responsible for the recruitment of prospective employees for open positions by interviewing and assessing candidate appropriateness for employment qualification.
+ Refers qualified candidates for non-exempt, paraprofessional and professional level positions.
+ Advises and participates in planning, strategy development, and policy related to Talent Acquisition on a basic to moderate level.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Ensures job descriptions and postings adequately represent and appropriately market the talent needs for regions or lines of business.
+ Professionally represents AECOM’s values and culture through all marketing, communication, and correspondence with potential candidates.
+ Collaborates with Onboarding to ensure hired candidates are prepared for start date.
+ Leverages the applicant tracking system to organize and streamline the recruiting process (e.g., schedule interviews, establish notes, communicate with prior candidates, etc.)
+ Maintains applicant tracking system with current postings, branding, and applicant status. Utilizes the system to engage prior candidates who may fit current needs.
+ Establishes and ongoing talent pipeline through employee referrals, targeted candidates, and various networking activities.
+ Perform the day-to-day requirements of assigned requisitions in compliance with service level agreements, process, policies and procedures.
+ Conduct intake meetings and agree on delivery expectations, timelines, and sourcing strategies of job vacancies.
+ Evaluate candidates against position requirements, screen candidates and follow up promptly with prospective and qualified candidates.
+ Manage and proactively record key performance indicators as requested by the business.
+ Maintains recruiting documentation and files in compliance with state and federal regulations.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
+ HS/GED + 4 years of experience supporting a business requiring exceptional administrative coordination, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills while meeting or exceeding deadlines in a fast past, high volume environment or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
+ Proficient in the use of Applicant Tracking Software, such as, SmartRecruiters.
Preferred Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree.
+ Previous experience working in an engineering, construction consulting services environment.
+ Ability to handle high volume requisition workload in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong written and verbal communication with a positive, client/candidate-focused customer service attitude.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple calendars and deadlines. Experience coordinating logistics for career and recruiting events, both live and virtual.
