Dobbes Family Estate is seeking an enthusiastic, driven, friendly tasting room wine ambassador to represent our wines, our winery, and our welcoming culture. The ideal candidate will provide spirited and exceptional customer service for our club members, new visitors, industry peers, and trade partners. They will also educate guests on the unique qualities of our wines, history, philanthropy, and culture. A service heart coupled with strong sales talent is a must, as is a sense of humor and commitment to teamwork. Our Dundee tasting room is open every day from 11 am – 6 pm, with occasional evening events. This is a part-time position (10-15 hours/week). Weekend availability is required. Ideal schedule would be Sat-Mon.

Job Duties:
- Greet and serve guests hospitably
- Conduct tastings and tours of the winery facilities
- Create a memorable experience for guests
- Effectively advise and sell wines to guests
- Answer tasting room phone to field questions and arrange group tours and tastings
- Provide education about each of our wines, wine-tasting practices, winemaking techniques, and winery/winemaker history
- Invite all visitors to join our wine club and share news of our upcoming events
- Handle routine point-of-sale transactions
- Complete routine housekeeping tasks to maintain a neat and orderly work environment
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager
Position Requirements
- Requires knowledge of and passion for wine that can be communicated to our guests
- Proven abilities in sales, customer service, and confident and friendly interaction with the diverse public
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Outstanding verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- High energy and ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
- Familiarity with the operation of POS systems
- Strong computer proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with little direction
- Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- OLCC pourers license and food handlers card is required (the company can assist with this requirement if needed)

- The position is hourly wage DOE; weekend availability and occasional events and holidays (10-15 hours/week) Ideal schedule would be Sat-Mon
- Team environment, PTO provided
- Competitive Commission Structure and Tips.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
