Kids’ Corps, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit serving low-income families with young children through Head Start, Early Head Start, and Parents as Teachers programs in Anchorage, Alaska. Providing employees interesting, challenging, meaningful work that positively impacts the Anchorage community since 1990. It is our passion at Kids' Corps, Inc. to create a safe, nurturing environment for all children and families. An environment that fosters the social and emotional skills needed to be successful in school and life. We believe and incorporate play based learning as well as individual and small group instruction into our classrooms daily. We conduct ongoing child assessments and set goals with parents to help children reach their fullest potential.

Work hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (year round or part year August through May both available)
Reports to: Center Director
Supervises: Gives input to Center Director on Assistant Teacher performance
Position requires one of the following: associate or bachelor’s degree with at least four (3-credit) courses in Early Childhood
Starting Salary dependent on education:
Associate Degree: $25.10 per hour
Bachelor Degree: $28.82 per hour
Graduate Degree: $32.92 per hour
This is a non-exempt position. 90 day introductory period.
We are currently offering a $500 sign-on bonus and additional $500 bonus after completing the 90 day probation period. We also offer a $250 Covid vaccination stipend if provided with proof of full vaccination.
