Teacher of Business

Bergen County Academies is seeking a new colleague with hospitality industry experience to join us as we teach our students fundamental business concepts intertwined with hospitality management, as well as finance and economics electives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Qualified to teach academically advanced students introductory college–level courses in the following disciplines: Hospitality Management, Accounting, Economics, and Finance.
• Develop and teach new and existing elective courses.
• Run business-related clubs and competitions.

Qualifications:

• Possess a NJDOE K-12 Instructional certificate – Teacher of Business: Finance/Economics/Law endorsement OR obtain teacher certificate via Alternate Route Program.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Enjoy continuous learning, always seeking to learn new technologies and skills.
• Deep commitment to building and sustaining inclusive learning spaces.
