Montessori Teacher Assistant
Job Description

Sunnyside Montessori has been serving the Clackamas area for over thirty years. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is interested in a permanent position. Must be reliable, cheerful and flexible. Montessori experience is helpful but not required. We will train. Must enjoy children and be comfortable working and playing with them.

The children we serve are from two and a half to six years old.

Duties of positions are (but not limited to):

Classroom support for Teacher

Assistance in the bathroom

Playground supervision

Maintaining classroom material

Cleaning

The school year is from September through June. We are closed July and August for the summer holiday.

REGISTRATION IN THE CENTRAL BACKGROUND REGISTRY IS REQUIRED.

If hired, must acquire as soon as possible:

Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse Certificate

CPR/ First Aid

Food Handlers Card

Child Care Health and Safety Training
