About this Position:
The Regional Operations Network Unit Team Manager is responsible for regional manufacturing operational management direction of infrastructure network (core, distribution, edge, wireless, physical cabinets, ethernet and fiber) requirements for projects, system enhancements and portfolio support to be implemented in the manufacturing environments of 10 factories in the USA and Canada. Collaboration with MSO Infrastructure Strategy Unit is also critical for a cohesive and effective short-term and long-term strategy to prepare for BEV Innovation.

The Team Manager will provide direction, leadership and directly supervise system administration technical staff at all US and Canadian Manufacturing Facilities, including all aspects of Infrastructure Network asset life cycle management, related project management with internal staff, and external vendors
Lead and/or co-develop strategic initiatives to commonize regional characteristics and lead initiatives to
- minimize Cyber Security risk and impact.
- implement cross-site support processes and governance as defined by the Unit Manager to ensure MSO department objectives are met.
- Coordinate amongst all AHM IT infrastructure network operations and engineering teams to create and/or revise our technical designs, the standards going forward for application systems, and the support of the business unit assets.
Review and support implementation of Enterprise standards or establish specific manufacturing IT standards necessary to provide business functionality while ensuring stability and consistency of applications offered.
Responsibilities include:
- Support Strategic and lead site technical direction and vision for the Department and Units that are aligned and correlated across the IT Business Unit. Contribute ideas and formulate the details on execution of Division, Department and Unit strategy
- Ensure Departmental assets align to Enterprise standards or MSO standards to enable cross-site collaboration for Operational Support, minimization of production downtime due to Infrastructure – Network (core, distribution, edge, wireless, physical cabinets, ethernet and fiber), and facilitate the cost and manpower targets of the Division/Department.
- Achieve Department/Unit project goals for the Team or provide coordination of Infrastructure Network resources to support BU projects as approved annually: including schedule, budget and quality commitments
- Build NA relationships and network to achieve trust and credibility, by discovering and meeting the needs of internal and external customers across sites in USA and Canada. Use persuasion and influence to achieve maximum results with North America IT goals.
- Provide Team Leadership and coordination for IT Incident Response across all manufacturing environments for Infrastructure – Network elements.
- Build and maintain a high performing IT team by fostering associate development and long-term capability by teaching, coaching, and mentoring, integrated with consistent and effective individual performance Management. Ensure Team is motivated, engaged and inspired to achieve goals and objectives.
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
- 10+ years of IT business work experience
- 8 years of Infrastructure experience in diverse technology (Network architecture, physical connectivity)
- 5 years of supervisory experience
Required Education:
- IS related bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
