Requirements:

· Food Handler’s Permit ($7) obtain online, turn in with first week of hire

· Use of Whatsapp & When I Work app for messaging and scheduling

· Completion of Smoothie King’s “The Blend” Team Member Fundamentals Training

Additional Info.

· Starting Pay is $8 an hour with potential of 40 hours maximum.

· After 3 months, there is potential for an evaluation for a pay increase based on performance.

Essential Job Functions

• Ability to communicate in Spanish with Spanish speaking guests
• Team Member must have personal means of transportation or personal vehicle to be available when needed.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or frozen products, and powdered substances, including, but not limited to, strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds), milk, soy, proteins, trains and spices without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety
• Ability to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements
• Ability to keep the store clean and follow food safety regulations
• Ability to operate a blender and POS cashier system
• Ability to move boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs throughout the store
• Ability to position self to bend, reach and scoop through assigned shifts
• Ability to be mobile around refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
• Ability to work alone during slow periods or winter months
• Ability to multi task in a speedy manner

• Is eager to help Guests make a selection when Guests express difficulty with ordering or selecting a smoothie
• Remains calm with fellow Team Members and Guests during high volume times
• Remains professional when Guests may act in an irate manner

• Completes daily checklist duties correctly and in a timely manner
• Is open to feedback from Team Members, Shift Leads, and/or Managers,then practices and perfects task(s)
• Approaches tasks with a positive attitude

Time Management

• Shows up on time for work and notifies management if running late

Balances personal life without interference to their work schedule

• New team members must remember that they are under a 3 month probationary period meaning that Healthy Blends LLC & Mega Blends LLC reserves the right to terminate upon any reason for need being.
• New team members must know that upon 3 write ups, termination is effective.
• During the 3 month probationary period, new team members cannot request more that 5 days off other than an emergency.
