Public Risk Underwriters seeks a Technical Processor to join our team out of Richardson, TX.
SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Office Manager, an individual whose primary responsibility to provide clerical assistance.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Responsible for entering all new and renewal submissions into agency management system as necessary. - Sets up new business quote files.
- Requests and processes all loss runs for clients and underwriters.
- Process standard renewal solicitation letters.
- Sends out non-renewal and cancellation notices. - Links renewal business to expiring policy for new detail number.
- Sends out closing letters on files that are not renewed.
- Kills expired quote files in insurance accounting system.
- Sets up suspense items in insurance accounting system.
- Process all incoming and outgoing regular and express mail.
- Sends communications as necessary.
- Makes photocopies as necessary.
- Order supplies
- Maintain orderly hard copy and electronic filing system.
- Pull and return all hard copy files as necessary.
- Generally assist underwriter assistants and underwriters as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Skill and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite of products and company software.
- One (1) to two (2) years related experience.
