What will you be doing in this role:

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for entire project life cycle. This includes, but is not limited to, facilitating the following functions: system requirements definition, process and/or workflow redesign, business case development, Request for Proposal development, vendor evaluation and selection, and contract negotiation and development. Ensures contract compliance, risk analysis, project scope, implementation management, and support transition.

  • Lead all aspects of scrum project development for consumer facing web applications.
  • Responsible for working with our operational partners in developing and planning the project timeline including all project phases-requirements: discovery, conceive, development, Q/A and testing, end-user training, go-live readiness and support.
  • Facilitates activities including all sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospective.
  • Track sprint status and resolve impediments or blocked user stories as needed.
  • Facilitate meetings and cross-team coordination to resolve dependencies, manage expectation and stay aligned with stakeholders.
  • Lead multi-functional project teams by task assignment and follow up to ensure on-time completion.
  • Formulate and propose decisions regarding a technical project, deployment, or pivotal initiative.
  • Responsible for written/verbal communication within stories, epics, task, sub-task
  • Provides informative and timely status reports using department reporting procedures for both internal EIS and external operational customers.

Experience Requirements:

  • Five (5)+ years of experience leading system implementations, preferably in a health care organization.
  • Project management experience, using Project Management Institute and/or Information Technology Infrastructure Library Foundation principles
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, scope, cost, time, risk, quality, and communication.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) and pragmatic consensus- building, conflict-prevention, and resolution skills-set.
  • Experience leading sophisticated technical projects to completion.
  • Experience administering agile software management and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence.
  • Experience with business analysis, documentation, and ability to implement process improvements.

Educational/Certification Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field. (preferred)

PMP and/or CSM certification preferred.
