Corporate Technical Federal Recruiter

We are looking for a Corporate Technical Recruiter with Federal experience to join our team in finding long term, cleared, technical professionals for our nationwide teams. This is a role suited for someone with experience finding long term employees for a small and growing federal contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and team members to identify requirements
- Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies
- Review candidates, conduct phone screens, and compose and document evaluations
- Guide candidates and hiring managers through interview and start
- Invest in a genuine, transparent, and positive candidate experience
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in talent acquisition
- Timely and accurate documentation in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) of requisition, hiring manager communications, and candidate progress to provide status updates and ensure compliance with Federal hiring regulations
- Participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruiting activities
- Administer ad hoc human resources and recruiting projects and tasks
- Communicate quickly, efficiently, ethically, and collaboratively with team
Qualifications:
- A non negotiable minimum of four years of experience in corporate technical recruiting, sourcing, or recruiting coordination for small or mid sized federal contractors
- Demonstrated ability to maintain independent motivation and productivity, with the initiative to follow up with colleagues and leadership for direction when needed
- A solid understanding of OFCCP requirements
- Experience with proposal recruiting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated by the ability to interact with a variety of candidates, clients, and colleagues
- Experience and comfort with thorough hiring manager kick off and candidate screening calls
- General understanding of security clearance requirements, processes, and recruitment
- Availability to work East Coast business hours
- Experience with at least two Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Curiosity and comfort with research
- Fast reading ability
- Comfort with transparency and a commitment to ethical, collaborative, and open growth and communications
