The Technical Services Administrator will be responsible for numerous administrative functions related to field operations of an oilfield remanufacture service and support facility.

Detailed Description

  • Will administer the Warrior Technical support hotline and will have opportunities to engage with technicians and customers
  • Will be responsible for turning appropriate customer feedback into the appropriate customer service ticket based on the rules set for the in the Quality Management System
  • Facilitate logistics with operations, service technicians, & customers on workflow
  • Process and maintain work orders and sales orders using an ERP system.
  • Ensure that established procedures related to service maintenance inspections (truck, tools) work orders and sales orders are being followed and the documentation is prepared properly.
  • Run and reconcile various reports from business systems and applications
  • Provide on-the-job training to employees to encourage optimum performance and continued skill development. Effectively plan and record Bi-Weekly (Crew change over) meeting(s) and discussion topics
  • Assist production administrators with additional or overflow tasks of work orders or documentation needs
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate, interact, and assist employees, internal customers and third-party companies by telephone, email, mail or in person with respect & customer focus in mind
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational Skills, utilize a computer and software with the ability to run reports and analyze results for communication, reporting and data acquisition
  • Knowledge of general administrative functions to include accounting, invoicing, time-card management, records management, and document control processes with the ability to multitask and manage several activities simultaneously
  • Demonstrate clear communication skills including ability to read, write and speak English as well as understand and promptly follow verbal and written instructions
  • Follow defined procedures, processes and HSE requirements, they must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties.
  • Also, must be able to work closely with others and under deadlines including time-sensitive response situations and be willing to work extended schedules that will include working days, and occasionally nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to read & teach electrical, hydraulic, mechanical schematics & assembly drawings

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 + years of experience in a field maintenance roll in oil and gas or related industry
  • Understanding of oilfield terminology and parts, specifically related to top drive, make/break machines, and pumps

Preferred

  • Work experience with API Quality certification
  • Millwright, Journeyman Mechanic or Electrician certificate or Trade School Degree
  • Oil & Gas Equipment Installation, Rig up /down experience:
    • Warrior, TDS 11 Top Drives, Iron Roughnecks, Automated Catwalks, Power End
  • 3 + years of experience in a manufacturing and service environment or equivalent credits
  • 3 + years of experience in the repair and remanufacture of oilfield equipment or equivalent credits

Additional Details:

This position requires the person to work in both office locations and outdoors in all types of weather conditions, including precipitation, cold / heat, high wind, and turbulent conditions. The Technical Service Administrator will be occasionally exposed to the typical conditions of the local area and where other drilling operations and rigs are located.
