Due to exciting growth, we have an immediate need for a Technical Solutions Manager to join our team on innovative database projects! As an integral part of this group, you will be responsible for designing and developing databases and complex procedures. About you:

  • Work as the technical partner and liaison with the Project Management and Client Services organization to define business and technical requirements for technical projects as well as Develop and approve technical project timelines and delivery schedules.
  • Work closely with Solutions Architects for technical solutions and architectural design needs.
  • Lead and direct the on-shore and off-shore development team(s) responsible for the technical projects.
  • Ensure consistency and standards are implemented for database scripts, ETL processing and systems architecture and design.
  • Design, code, test and maintain database objects and ETL processes, as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients directly, or indirectly, as needed in the technical sales or requirements definition processes.
  • Serve as a technical leader within the organization and keep current on new technologies and systems which support the company mission.
  • Design, develop, document, and deploy technical solutions to complex business problems.
  • Build, edit, and review complicated and sophisticated database solutions.
  • Optimize existing import/export processes to increase efficiencies and performance.
  • Analyze OLTP and OLAP databases, interpret results, produce reports, and provide insights and recommendations to our clients.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with front-end developers to deliver applications.
  • Assist data scientists with data analysis and research.
  • Mentor team members on standard methodologies and skills.

What you’ll need:

  • Consistent record in database programming, stored procedures, data imports and exports.
  • Minimum of 5 years of database development experience required in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a senior development or leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of ETL processing is required.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop new and mature processes, manipulate data, and support database design efforts.
  • Strong documentation skills needed for code/project reviews.
  • Experience using Tableau, MicroStrategy, or other business intelligence tools a plus.
  • Experience with both Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms a plus.
  • Experience with Git, Mercurial, or other version control systems a plus.
  • Ability to communicate quickly and effectively with team members on design concerns, functionality specifications, bottlenecks, and development status updates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Software Development: 1 year (Preferred)
  • ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, C#, VB.NET: 1 year (Preferred)
