1. Position Summary:
This position is under the general supervision of the SVP, Director of Information Technology. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the Bank’s systems administration and operations. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the Bank’s computer systems, including all peripherals and subsystems. Subsystems include network hardware, Fiserv systems, servers and user computer systems. Requires a strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software. Is also responsible for interfacing with vendors for repairs of hardware and installation of software. Also acts as the Bank’s liaison, providing technical support to user base.
Note: Some environment/technical tasks will be done in conjunction with the bank’s Managed Service Provider, who will perform the more technical environment support activities (e.g., firewalls, servers, routers, switches).
2. Primary Responsibilities:
· Working knowledge of enterprise banking systems and related services
· Documenting and improving IT processes to improve efficiency
· Address user phone call and e-mail inquiries for technical assistance and addressing tickets submitted to troubleshoot issues (including hardware, software or network problems) and complete all requests submitted
- Responds to user base inquiries regarding computer software and hardware issues.
- Provides technical support to customer service areas in assistance to Internet banking customers.
· Managing Application user permissions and access
· Installing, configuring and maintaining desktop, thin client and laptop PCs and peripherals
· Manage print server and network printers
· Monitoring network backup service
· Creating and managing Active Directory users and groups
· Managing Application user permissions and access
· Work in conjunction with the Managed Service Provider on some network support activities
o Administering LAN security, anti-virus measures and Windows updates
o Monitoring Intrusion Detection System software
o Review daily server system and event logs
· Maintain inventory of all Bank computers and peripherals
· Interact with various vendors regarding technical issues.
· Install, upgrade, or repair of all computer-related peripherals.
· Provides after-hour support coverage to system failures.
3. Education, Experience and Skills:
· Minimum education requirement of Associates degree or related technical degree.
· This position requires 2+ years of technical and or operational experience with banking core processor applications (Fiserv Premier is preferred, FIS, etc.) and general banking systems experience.
· Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, subordinates and user departments.
· Strong technical skills, with knowledge of network operations and proficiency in personal computer usage.
· Working knowledge of software and network products, including but not limited to Windows O/S, MS Office/Office 365, TCP/IP, SQL, Hyper-V, TLS, virus protection, firewall protocols & port management, and monitoring skills.
· Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Detail oriented with the ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.
· Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to lift equipment up to 40 pounds.

· Industry certifications a plus (examples: CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, etc.).
