Job Description

Duties

  • The day-to-day responsibilities of this position will include but not necessarily be limited to technical support for office equipment such as copiers and fax machines including telephone support. The position may also include the support for briefings and executive dashboards and the use of application software within the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In addition, the responsibilities of this position are expected to include support for setting up conference bridge meetings.
  • Also processing travel authorizations and vouchers, maintaining records and correspondence tracking through the CMMS automated system, maintaining employee leave status through the CASTLE system, and purchasing office supplies through ITAR and the Office Essentials Contract under the SAVES Program.
  • The support may include training and / or troubleshooting on office systems, equipment and software and provide technical assistance and advice to users as needed.
  • Support technicians may also create instructions for and train users in the use of new hardware and software. Installing new programs and equipment and ensuring the proper functioning of AIT existing computer system are also important daily tasks.
  • Technical Support Technicians must be willing and able to stay abreast of new technologies

Qualifications

  • High School diploma + 6 relevant years

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Possess excellent computer literacy with the ability to function in FAA multi-system software applications to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and SharePoint
  • Possess knowledge on WEBEX, Tandberg VTC, Polycomm and Adobe Connect
  • Knowledgeable about FAA Systems to include, but not limited to, CMMS Automated system, CASTLE System, and ITAR.
  • Possess excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and demonstrated professionalism
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Highly responsive to requested needs
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Ability to work with confidential and proprietary information using utmost discretion
