Job Summary: Performs full range of Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures in a digital/PACS environment while observing radiation safety techniques. Responsible for operating a variety of IR equipment in a hospital setting including Angio Suites, Power Injectors, Advantage Windows Workstation and PACS/Centricity. Assists in obtaining quality images including both technical and positional factors. Responsible for confirming correct patient/correct exam/correct order/correct patient demographics, prior to exam by adhering to TimeOut/Universal Protocol. Responsible for entering, editing, and completing exams in Meditech. Adapts to schedule changes including routine departmental coverage, call shifts and call back for procedures/holidays. Maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field of Interventional Radiology and new procedures as they evolve while educating/assisting new employees and students. Maintains individual credentialing and education requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to WFH standards of behavior.

Education:
Graduate of ARRT Accredited Program

Licensure/Certification:
Current ARRT is required. Florida Certification is required.

Experience:
A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years GenRad and /or Interventional Radiology is experience is preferred. Advanced CV or VI Registry is preferred.
