What you will do

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot small cell and base station antennas for the telecom industry
• Work on a team with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers as well as other Antenna Technicians to prototype and test antenna designs for 5G applications
• Work with an outstanding antenna engineering team, interacting closely with engineers and technicians
• Use network analyzers and near field range to gather RF data for reports in the support of antenna product development
• Operate the near field pattern test chamber to produce antenna pattern plots for engineering reports
• Run PIM (Passive Intermodulation) test equipment to troubleshoot and repair antenna prototypes
• Learn from the industry's top antenna engineers and outstanding manufacturing processes in the world’s top production facilities

You will bring

• High school, secondary school, or equivalent with 6 years of experience. May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.
• Characterization of antenna performance by conducting electrical tests such as VSWR, Isolation, near and far-field gain measurements, and Passive Intermodulation testing
• Ability to test and tune antenna S-parameters such as Return Loss,VSWR and Isolation
• Motivation to learn and constantly improve processes and tools
• People skills to work with engineers and technicians in design and manufacturing setting
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to operate basic tools and test equipment such as meters, scopes, and analyzers
• Soldering skills required
