Technology Support Specialist
Scope: Responsible for assisting Technology Director, staff and students in areas of support, maintenance and administration of all areas of technology.
Reports to: District Technology Director
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Technology education and/or background is preferred.
- Ability to lead and complete projects.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Apple & Google Operating systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP & wireless protocols.
- Positive attitude & the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
Performance Responsibilities:
- Provide technology support for all District users.
- Communicate effectively with existing IT and District staff.
- Maintain District technology equipment and update various software/hardware systems.
- Maintaining District technology areas by organizing and recycling properly.
- Ability to organize time and multiple tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Other duties as assigned by Technology Director and/or administration.
