IT Inspirations LLC is a small I.T company based in Slidell, Louisiana. We provide structured cabling and networking services throughout Louisiana, coastal Mississippi, and Alabama. We seek quick learners with some cabling experience to install/troubleshoot cabling and networking devices. Technicians must have their own vehicle. Tools and materials will be provided. Pay is based on experience.

Our business is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. We are seeking an experienced Telecom or Low Voltage Technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair a wide variety of electronics, cabling, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical, cabling, and equipment network skills, as well as top-notch troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate should also be familiar with a wide variety of instruction manuals as well as computer software. Additionally, the job requires regular travel between sites and availability to work on call most time.

Tools need to start: (Punch DownTool, RJ45 Pass Thru Modular Crimper, Tone and Probe, Cat5/Cat6 Cable tester, Laptop, Lable maker, A Frame Ladder, Power drill and basic hand tools.)

(Must have your own vehicle to travel from site to site)

Responsibilities:

Communicate with customers.

Install and maintain telecommunications and network equipment.

Maintain telephone services.

Run Cat5, Cat6 cabling

Perform in-depth research using a variety of reference materials.

Design and implement technical solutions.

Train staff members.

Communicate with customers using different mediums of communication.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
