Disney Parks and Resorts Telecom is looking for an individual with strong leadership and technical skills to support Telecom technical operations at Disney Parks and Resorts. The position will include leading a diverse and talented team of union technicians. This individual will coordinate and collaborate across many functional departments to provide sustainment, and delivery of voice and data services. This individual must also have a strong understanding of outage resolution and troubleshooting.

This is a swing shift manager position.

The Telecom Operations Manager will report to Manager-Telecom Operations.

What You’ll Do

• Meet and conform to all safety policies and regulations set forth by the Walt Disney World Company. Ensure a culture of safety is foremost in the department.

• Support and maintain critical business services for Resort applications including: Guest Wi-Fi and Door lock network.

• Support and maintain telephony and data services for Parks, Resorts and Events.

• Analyze Data using ServiceNow and audit reports for strategic decision making.

• Layer 1 sustainment of Disney Global Network.

• Fiscal responsibility for Operational/Project budgets.

• Manage a team of Union cast members.

• Knowledge of Disney administrative applications: MyTime, CastMobile, Regulatory training.

• On-Call rotation with a responsibility for system outages, issues after hours/weekends on a weekly basis.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years in the Telecommunication Industry

• 1-2 years of leadership experience

• Knowledge of Union Contracts and Environment

• Ability to collaborate with a range of partners while understanding multiple perspectives

• Strong time management, prioritization, and delegation skills

• Knowledge of SIP, virtual, and physical network environment

• Knowledge of voice systems (Cisco, Avaya, Nortel)

• Strong user of Microsoft Office Suite

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or equivalent work experience
