The Telehealth Assistant - HAWP is responsible for implementing HAWP telehealth services which includes working with the activity team, engaging in developing virtual teaching plans, assisting program instructors to set up virtual classes, and providing direct technical support to HAWP participants. The Telehealth Assistant provides technical assistance to participants, ensures participants and/or family members can operate equipment appropriately, and maintains inventory. Works in the Legacy House Day Center and in participants’ homes as necessary.
Education - High School Diploma or two years’ experience working with computer technical support. Bachelor’s preferred.Experience - Two years of hands-on experience supporting users in a production environment. One (1) year experience working with the frail and elderly population preferred.
Other Requirement(s) - Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact. CPR/First Aid Certification and other requirements can be obtained during new hire training. Mandarin, Cantonese, and/or other Asian/Pacific Islander language proficiency preferred.
