The Teller works on the front line of our operations, performing a variety of transactions to assist customers with their financial needs. Opportunity in our new Athens location for a full- or part-time banker. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving deposits and loan payments; cashing checks, issuing savings withdrawals, and recording night and mail deposits.
- Answering questions and resolving customer issues in person or by telephone.
- Reconciling cash drawer accurately and maintaining appropriate supply of cash and currency.
- Complying with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Cross-selling bank products and services.
- Working as part of a team to provide exceptional service to customers.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and some cash handling experience are required. Preference to proven work experience with a customer service focus.
- Must have strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Successful candidate will have a high attention to detail and strong organizational skillset.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a professional environment are required.
