Our team at Bionaut Labs (www.bionautlabs.com) is in the process of developing tetherless robotic platform for the treatment of pediatric and adult brain disorders.

We are trying to identify a temp/tech for our internal 3D printing, microassembly and material science project.

Specific job description is as follows:

• A 3-6 months temp engagement with Bionaut, a success/performance based full time employment opportunity;
• Key activities will be centered around design, 3D printing and (micro)assembly of mm/sub-mm magnetic microparticles using our existing in house equipment and diverse materials (plastics); magnet testing, test sample prep and mechanical puncture/pull tests
• In addition, the candidate will help with identification, prioritization and management of (potential) 3D printing, alternative micromanufacturing/assembly CROs and providers of magnetic materials (micromagnets), and creation of documentation to understand task performed and for data analysis purposes.

Key qualifiers:

• Immediate availability (within 1 month)
• Demonstrated skill(s) set including working with respective software (ex., CAD) and hardware (3D printing equipment)
• Hands-on knowledge of modern 3D printing techniques, equipment and relevant materials;
• (Micro)assembly skills
• Desired: scientific background (BS/MS) in a relevant field (chem engineering, material sciences, etc)
• Ability to work under guidance and (somewhat) independently on the designated task(s)
• Excellent planning, communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced working knowledge of excel, and ability to create and analyze excel data sets

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Internship

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
